Eligibility Criteria:

Age Limit:

 Candidates upper age limit should not exceed 35 years as on 01-07-2014. Age relaxation is applicable as per the rules.

Educational Qualification:

 Candidates must possess the qualification of BE/ B.Tech and ME/ M.Tech. in the relevant branch of Engineering or Technology with First Class or its equivalent either in BE or B.Tech or ME or M.Tech for Asst Professor Posts, Master’s Degree in the relevant subject with good academic record of not less than 55% of marks, Pass in the National Eligibility Test (NET) for Lecturers conducted by the UGC for Assistant Professor Posts.


Selection Procedure:

Candidates would be selected based on their performance in written examination.


How to Apply:

 The Application Form (OMR format) along with Prospectus can be purchased (from 20.08.2014 to 05.09.2014) in person from theOfice of the Chief Educational Of icers of al 32 Districts in Tamilnadu on payment of Rs.100/- (Rupe s Hundred only) in cash towards the cost of the Application Form and Prospectus.

 Submision of Filed-in Application Forms:

 Candidates are advised to submit the filed- in forms at the Office of the Chief Educational Of icer concerned on or before 05.09.2014 upto  5.00P.M, and obtain acknowledgement for the same. Candidates are advised NOT to send the filed-in Application forms by postor in person to the Teachers Recruitment Board, Chennai-6.These wil not be acepted. Applications received in any form other than the one is ued by Teachers Recruitment Board or Chief Educational Oficers shal be rejected
